Nikolay Madoyan holds a Ph.D. - he studied in Armenia, Russia and Germany under professors Hrachya Bogdanyan, Zakhar Bron and others. Madoyan also took master classes from outstanding violinists Miriam Solovieff and Isaac Stern, with whom he would perform together in France. Madoyan has been awarded the title of the Merited Artist of Armenia for supreme mastery and excellence in the promotion of arts.
