The Third International Violin Festival takes place in St. Petersburg
Virtuoso music week: the third International Violin Festival is taking place in St. Petersburg. One of the main events is a gala concert on the stage of the Philharmonic named after D.D. Shostakovich.
Nikolay Madoyan will perform at the Gala concert on October 11 in the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonia accompanied by the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra and conductor Pavel Petrenko. He will be performing Ysaÿe’s poem Au Rouet (To the spinning wheel), as well as Mirzoyan’s Perpetuum Mobile.
